Attachments & Accessories

Attachments add a function to a machine a producer already owns. A vacuum filler with a standard attachment connection can be fitted with grinding heads, bone and sinew separators, forming and portioning devices, casing holding and linking devices, and container filling heads. The filler supplies the metered flow of product and, for some attachments, the drive as well, and the attachment does the grinding, shaping, linking or depositing at the outlet.

Overview

About attachments & accessories

A grinding head mounted on the filler grinds the mass immediately before it is portioned, so mince or sausage meat is ground and filled in one pass with less handling. A separator fitted to the cutting set removes bone, cartilage and sinew during grinding. Forming attachments produce burgers, balls, skewers and minced meat blocks, while filling horns and heads portion into cans, jars and moulds.

Accessories support a machine without being part of the product itself. Belt and rotary filters clean the brine that drains back from an injector so it can be reused, and needle cleaning stations keep injector needles clear between production runs. Adding attachments and accessories lets butchers and processors widen their product range and build out an existing line one step at a time.
